Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim bin Abdul Salam Al Hayani, Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Embryology at the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University, holds a PhD in Neuroanatomy (2001) from the University of Aberdeen in Britain. He also holds a diploma in forensic sciences (in 2002) from the University of Glasgow, Britain, in addition to certificates in medical education, forensic medical sciences and health services management from a number of other universities. He is a certified trainer in medical education, evaluation and measurement with a number of national and international centers. He is a member of a number of international scientific societies specialized in medical education and neurosciences, and a number of national and internal committees. His teaching experience extends to more than 18 years teaching anatomy and forensic medicine.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim has a number of patents registered in the preparation and preservation of anatomical organs and treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. He has more than (60) published scientific research papers.

He rose in the career ladder at King Abdulaziz University, starting from the head of the anatomy department at the College of Medicine, then the Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Quality and Development, until the University Vice Dean for Educational Affairs. His Excellency also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Ibn Sina National College For Medical Studies, and a membership of a number of boards of directors in a number of associations.

His Excellency currently holds the position of Undersecretary for University Education.

Dr. Dina AlHammadi has over 10 years of teaching and leadership experience. She was head of the CoOp department at the College of Computer and Information Sciences. She was head of the Information Technology department and later the Information Systems department. She is now the director for the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and currently the acting vice dean for Training at the Academic Development Deanship.

She has acquired her computer science Bachelor's degree from King Saud University. Her Master's from King Saud University, thesis title was "Developing a Diabetes Mellitus Expert System". Her Ph.D. was granted from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. Her thesis was "Personality Recognition from Non-verbal Acoustic Cues: Bridging the Gap between Computer Science and Psychology".

Her research interests are Artificial Intelligence, Social AI, Personality Recognition, Human-Computer Interaction, and User Experience.

Dr. Gleason previously directed the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Yale-NUS College in Singapore and taught at Tufts University in Boston, MA, USA. Dr. Gleason’s research focuses on the Fourth Industrial Revolution’s implications for higher education, workforce training, and the future of work. She has published widely in her field and is the editor of Higher Education in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Springer, 2018). Dr. Gleason completed her PhD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, her Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and her Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University.

Before joining Effat University in 1998, she served as the first Dean of Girls' Campus in King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Haifa is a distinguished leader, respected academic, renowned advocate of youth engagement, and author of several articles; having also delivered many keynote speeches on women's education in the Middle East, women and change, entrepreneurship and business. Dr. Haifa is a winner of the 1000 Women for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005. She is also leading the female branch for the Center of Smart Robotics Research (CS2R) at the college; and held several leadership positions at King Saud University. Previously, she got her post-doc in robotics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and continued as research affiliate with the Mechanical Engineering department (MRL Lab) at MIT for four years. Her current research is focusing on improving collaborative robotics motions in a shared environment, looking for ways to integrate cognitive learning in order to apply innovative solutions that can be applied to more complex areas, including health and industry 4.0.
